Data Engineer - Secret Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer – Secret Clearance for a world leading technology company supporting various government clients. The Data Engineer – Secret Clearance must reside near the Reston, Virginia area and hold an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities for the Data Engineer – Secret Clearance include:

·       Data collection of structured and unstructured data

·       ETL Development leveraging python

·       Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines

·       Detect and understand data anomalies and trends  

·       Analyze the data and provide business insights

·       Ensure systems and processes are compliant with government certification / security standards

Requirements for the Data Engineer – Secret Clearance include:

·       Reside near the Reston, VA area

·       Active Secret Clearance

·       4+ years of experience in software engineering, analytics, and/or data production

·       Experience programming in Python, Javascript, R

·       Experience with SQL

·       AWS background

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with business stakeholders

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Analytics, Math is preferred

Compensation of the Data Engineer – Secret Clearance: $100,000 – $150,000 annually with a full comprehensive benefits package
