Senior Contracts Specialist *SECRET CLEARED*

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Contracts Specialist to support DoD Research & Development (DARPA) in Arlington, VA. The team is seeking a dynamic skill set in contract negotiation, modifications, and grants that adhere to FAR/DFAR policies. This is a HYBRID role requiring an active SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities of the Senior Contracts Specialist: 

• Preparing and administering terms and conditions for contracts that contribute to national security objectives.
• Collaborating in contract negotiation efforts, analyzing proposed costs, and evaluating pricing strategies.
• Modifying with precision and proficiency.
• Conducting in-depth analysis of procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Preparing and maintaining essential contract file documentation according to FAR, DFARS, and related regulations.

Qualifications of the Senior Contracts Specialist:

• 8+ years of experience with government contracts
• MUST HOLD ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
• Experience implementing DoD FAR/DFARs policies and regulations
• Experience with government procurement and cost analysis experience
• DoD experience desired
• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Compensation for the Senior Contracts Specialist:

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $160,000 per year **flexible based on experience level**
• Full Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc.
• Long-term contract supporting DARPA
• REMOTE 4x/week
