Full Job Description:

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Senior NetOps Specialist to join a team focused on operations and maintenance of the MCEN’s classified and unclassified networks. This position will require 5 days in office, located in New Orleans, LA.

Responsibilities/Overview:

• In charge of infrastructure and network operation oversight, by responding to alerts and events in a timely manner.

• Coordinating infrastructure repairs, including directing remote activities to ensure continuity for service delivery.

• Responsible for incident resolution and ensuring that all appropriate responses are escalated.

• Configuration changes/new configurations of router, switches, firewalls. Network troubleshooting and handling incident escalation for network outages.

• Oversee daily shift activities, while recording and reporting outstanding issues. These will then be provided to Government representatives.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ Years of IT Experience

• Experience maintaining, administering, configuring, and troubleshooting MCEN Network Devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)

• IAT Level III Certificate

• CCNP preferred; Must have CCNA to Start

o Can obtain waiver for 6 months for CCNP if they have CCNA

• Active Secret Clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary Range $75,000-$110,000 (based on experience)
