Business Systems Task Lead (Secret Clearance)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Business Systems Task Lead to support USAF at Andrews AFB, MD. The team is seeking a business intelligence professional to support the Portfolio Advocacy Management Division of the Air Force's largest IT Portfolio. DoD administration and business analyst professionals are needed!

Clearance: Secret clearance required 

Location: Andrews AFB, MD (HYBRID-3x a week on-site)

Responsibilities of the Business Systems Task Lead:

• Lead and coordinate analytics integration and portfolio management efforts
• Coordinate tasks such as requirements gathering, data acquisition and integration, data mapping, implementation, user testing, fielding and sustainment
• Collaborate with key subject matter experts and provide updates to stakeholders
• Analyze functional requirements and system data across large IT portfolios to support implementation assessment; assess level of effort and recommend prioritization and approaches to meet requirements
• Analyze IT investment plans and priorities; recommend roadmap efforts to reduce IT costs, reduce organizational risk, comply with DoD mandates, and to meet strategic objectives
• Lead/support portfolio summits, Rapid Improvement Events, Integrated Product Team efforts, and other meetings with key stakeholders (e.g., functional champions and subject matter experts)
• Author strategies, plans and procedures; periodically update to keep pace with emerging IT policy
• Capture and document requirements, produce project plans, key milestones, deliverables and schedule as well as successfully track project through completion as needed

Qualifications of the Business Systems Task Lead: 

• Secret clearance required
• B.S. and 5+ years of IT business analyst or project management experience
• 7+ years of DoD experience, Air Force preferred
• Experience managing requirements and portfolio for IT projects; software lifecycle, system architecture, cloud application, portfolio management
• Working experience supporting Air Force or HQ for a DoD Agency
• Analyze IT investment plans and priorities, track activities through completion of schedule and budget
• MS Office Power User (Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Access, Visio)

 Compensation of the Business Systems Task Lead:

• Total compensation based on experience level – $130,000 - $160,000+
