Fully Remote Azure Illumio Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a public trust cleared Fully Remote Azure Security Engineer to join a flourishing federal contracting company.  The secret cleared Fully Remote Azure Security Engineer  is responsible for the operations and maintenance of a cloud hosted in an Azure high-impact environment.

Responsibilities of the Fully Remote Azure Security Engineer include:

• Lead efforts to secure deployed cloud services, including hardeing and configuration
• Deploy back-end infrastructure including hosts, virtual servers and cloud services
• Perform OS security patcahing
• Automate tasks using PowerShell or Python
• Support ATO authorization
• Develop best practices and SOPs for Azure governance models and IT support

Qualifications for the Fully Remote Azure Security Engineer  includes:

• BS degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience
• Public Trust clearance or higher, potential for an upgrade to a secret clearance
• Experience with Illumio Core for micro-segmentation principles
• Experience with Azure security best practices

Compensation for the Fully Remote Azure Security Engineer includes:

• Salary Range: $170,000 - $180,000 **depending on experience**
