Sr. DevOps Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our team supporting a Global Government Client at Ft. Liberty, NC. This position is hybrid and requires a Top Secret clearance. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing our systems software and leveraging data analysis to optimize existing systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Solid technical foundation with a strong grasp of core IT principles.
• Demonstrable experience and skills in Cloud DevOps, including platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.
• Practical experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, AKS, or GKE.
• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.

Requirements:

• DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
• Knowledge of enterprise-level backup and restoration strategies and tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience with 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance.

Compensation:

·      $120,000-$175,000 **depending on experience**
