Onsite DevOps Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team supporting a Global Government Client at Ft. Liberty, NC. This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week onsite in one of the following locations: Crystal City, VA Hampton, VA, Tampa, FL, or Ft. Liberty, NC. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be instrumental in enhancing our systems software and leveraging data analysis to optimize existing systems.

Responsibilities of the Senior DevOps Engineer:

• Collaborate with customers to design and implement cloud-native architectures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for application deployment and upgrades.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure application reliability.
• Create and sustain infrastructure as code (IaC) for customer environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across the technology stack. 

Necessary Qualifications for the Senior DevOps Engineer:

• 5+ years of experience 
• Demonstrate senior-level experience as a Cloud Engineer with expertise in IaaS and familiarity with PaaS.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or Go.
• Strong experience with automated workflows in CI/CD, DevOps, or DevSecOps environments.
• Certifications: Any IAT Level II cert, and any AWS cert
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
• Clearance: Current and Active Top Secret

Compensation for the Senior DevOps Engineer:

• Salary: $150k-$180k (dependent on experience)
