Network Infrastructure Lead

*An Active Secret Clearance is required for consideration to this position*

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Infrastructure Lead to support the ARMY National Guard (ARNG). The Network Lead will be responsible for all performance aspects of a team of 20+ administrators and LAN Engineers supporting a large end-user community. This is an on-site position in Arlington, Virginia. The Network Lead will plan and organize all things relative to the Network and Server platforms to ensure stable operation of the IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and provide guidance and direction to network administrators, network engineers, system administrators, and system engineers; conduct performance reviews and administer any required corrective actions.
• Design and implement short-and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
• Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s executives, decision-makers, stakeholders, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent infrastructure activities.
• Ensure maximum issue resolutions in minimum time correlating to customer service level agreements (SLAs).
• Interface with NGB users of IT, employing a high degree of tact and diplomacy to promote a positive image of the department.

Qualifications:

• At Start Date, must posses IAT Level II Certification in Active status: CCNA, CCNP, Security+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, etc.
• 5+ years managing Network Services
• Active Secret Clearance

Compensation:

• $135,000 - $150,000 *depending on experience*
