Sr. DevOps Engineer

*Active Secret Clearance or Top Secret needed for consideration - will be upgraded to TS/SCI*

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support USSOCOM at Fort Liberty, NC. The Sr. DevOps Engineer will work to deliver flexible and efficient operations to enable Special Operations Forces (SOF) Units to carry out their missions on a global scale. This is a HYBRID position in a highly classified program. Active Secret Clearance needed for consideration - will be upgraded to TS/SCI.

Responsibilities:

• Solid technical foundation with a strong grasp of core IT principles.
• Demonstrable experience and skills in Cloud DevOps, including platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.
• Practical experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, AKS, or GKE.
• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or alike field
• 6+ years of experience for Senior level
• DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
• Active Secret Clearance - TS preferred

Compensation:

• $140,000 - $175,000 *depending on experience*
