PPBE SME

Zachary Piper is seeking a PPBE (Program, Planning, Budget, & Execution) SME to join a team providing configuration and capability support services for the Program and Budget Enterprise System (PBES) at the Pentagon in Washington, DC. This position will be HYBRID within the National Capital Region and hold an active SECRET clearance.

Key Responsibilities of PPBE/PBES SME:

• Assist with training when requested – helping new users make the connection between the functions of PBES and the Air Force PPB processes
• Assist PBES users’ desk-side, on the phone, or virtually – helping PBES users perform their required daily tasks
• Augment/assist the PBES helpdesk
• Specific tasks you will perform as a PPBE SME include, but are not limited to:
• Provide application/development support
• Use the PPB and translate the processes into the specific requirements used to develop PBES
• Help translate functional requirements identified by PBES users to the technical team – helping to ensure technical solutions resolve the intent of the identified requirement
• Translate PBES technical functionality to users such that users can apply the knowledge to perform daily tasks.

Qualifications for PPBE/PBES SME:

• 7+ years of experience supporting the PPBE process
• Extensive knowledge of the PPBE
• Government financial systems experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business or related field
• Active DoD Secret Clearance

Compensation for the PPBE/PBES SME include:

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 **depending on experience**
• Benefits: Cigna (Medical/Dental/401k) benefits including PTO after conversion to Prime at 6 months
