TS/SCI FSP Software Developer - HYBRID

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking Software Developers (front end + back end) to support a critical intelligence community mission at Ft. Meade, MD. The team is seeking skilled software developers ranging in skills across data engineering, front end and back end development, and testing to join this critical mission in support of web application and data analytics for the agency.

Clearance: TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph   

Location: Ft. Meade, MD (Hybrid - 3x week onsite)    

Responsibilities of the Software Developer:

• Participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Python, SpringBoot, Hibernate, and Angular.
• Develop and integrate custom developed software solutions to leverage automated deployment technologies
• Coordinate closely with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation to customer use cases
• Analyze (though proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing) and effectively coordinate Infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs
• Support the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices
• Develop and maintain web services and UI/UX
• Use industry leading DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Unix bash scripting
• Communicate key project data to team members and build team cohesion and effectiveness.

Qualifications of the Software Developer:   

•        Must hold an active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph clearance    

•        Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with 3-20+ years of software development experience in either front end or back end, cloud, test engineering, or data services

•        Technical proficiency with any of the following technologies; REACT, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Elastic Search, Git, Java, Springboot

•        Front end: HTML, Visual Basic, Angular, JavaScript, or other web based programming languages

•        Support website planning and deployment

•        Backend: Java, Spring, Python, MongoDB, ElasticSearch

•        Cloud AWS/Azure/GCP experience

•        ETL and data migration experience

Compensation of the Software Developer:    

·      Compensation: up to $200k+ ** based on years of experience**

o  Rate card – based on years of experience and degree, 3+ LCATS per skill set
