Business Analyst/Project Analyst **Hybrid**

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a position supporting a large defense contractor. This position is hybrid, requiring around 5% of work to be performed onsite on as needed basis in Chantilly, VA. The individual will join the Project Support Team and contribute their expertise in successful business operations.

Responsibilities of the Technical BA:

• Serve as a representative of the Project Support Team throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to proposals, requirements collection, project timeline input, product development and setup, quality control, managing client expectations, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on the combined status of projects through regular project status reports and other communication methods.
• Maintain project operations in accordance with PMO policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with PMO staff to facilitate the smooth running of program activities.
• Execute project support duties including drafting program and project documentation (such as meeting agendas and minutes, requirements, test plans, outcomes, process flow diagrams, and departmental guidelines), generating reports, compiling data, and performing content uploading/configuration tasks. Additionally, support other PMO team members with functions like proposal creation, quality assurance, and project financial monitoring.

Necessary Qualifications for the Technical BA:

• Must be eligible to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.
• Possesses IT experience or knowledge of standard IT principles, methods, and procedures.
• Proficient in Excel, HTML, Microsoft Teams, and Office suite, with familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Bonus points for knowledge of JSON, Python, Selenium IDE, and SQL.
• Skilled in creating technical documentation for software use and modifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with clients and team members.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Compensation for the Technical BA:

• Salary: $70,000-$90,000 (dependent on experience)
