Network Infrastructure Lead

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Infrastructure Lead to join one of our clients in supporting a large DoD program. This role is fully onsite in Arlington, VA. The Network Infrastructure Lead will be responsible for the management of a team of admins and engineers in a network environment, supporting a large end user community. 

*A current and active Secret Clearance is required*

Responsibilities of the Network Infrastructure Lead :

• Lead and manage IT staff, including performance reviews and corrective actions.
• Implement and enforce IT problem management policies and procedures.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for infrastructure capacity and growth.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with organizational leadership and stakeholders.
• Oversee IT asset management and ensure adherence to documented policies and procedures.

Necessary Qualifications for the Network Infrastructure Lead :

• 5+ years of experience managing network services
• Extensive leadership experience with technical teams, commanding respect and resolving issues in classified and unclassified environments.
• Proven ability to motivate staff to meet and exceed SLA standards, with a focus on service improvement and results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in customer/vendor management best practices and a fast-paced, agile learning environment.
• Demonstrated follow-through and attention to detail, with the ability to handle last-minute requests and ensure problem resolution.
• Clearance: Secret
• Certification: IAT Level II
• Education: Degree preferred, not required.

Compensation for the Network Infrastructure Lead :

• Salary: $135,000 - $155,000 (dependent on experience)
