Web & Application Administrator - REMOTE

Job Summary:

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Web and Application Administrator to support commercial cloud customers who reside in Microsoft Azure Gov & DoD regions on a 100% remote basis. This Web and Application Administrator position will provide a full suite of web and application administration capabilities to cloud customers who are in various phases of their application modernization.

Responsibilities of Web and Application Administrator include:

•          Serve as a Web and Application SME

•          Evaluate customer's current application architecture and develop a new architecture to be deployed in Azure

•          Build and deploy web and application infrastructure for customer applications

•          Provide sustainment of customer web and application tier systems

•          Work with customer developers for regular project releases and code deployments.

•          Provide troubleshooting assistance and root cause analysis for any reported issues

Qualifications of Web and Application Administrator include:

•          10-12+ years of experience in web and application administration

•          Bachelor's degree in related field

•          Ability to utilize tools such as: IIS, Apache, Nginx, or JBOSS

•          Knowledge of Linux and Windows Server operating systems

•          Experience managing multiple large-scale projects

•          Experience scripting and automating administrative tasks utilizing PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, etc.

•          Experience utilizing Git

•          Clearance: Active Secret

•          Certifications:

o  Security+

o  Windows administrator related computing environment certification (MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent)

Compensation of Web and Application Administrator include:

•          Salary Range: $60,000-$94,000 **depending on experience**

•          Benefits Package: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k etc.
