Technical Lead

Job Summary:

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Lead who is both talented and motivated to join a growing company based in Chantilly, VA on a primarily REMOTE basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing client solutions within our low-code SaaS platform, overseeing the software delivery of significant client projects, and managing various other critical tasks.

Responsibilities of the Technical Lead include:

• Adhere to Agile best practices in project management and development.
• Define technical requirements for system enhancements, monitor development progress, and spearhead QA efforts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Craft complex client solutions using our low-code SaaS platform.
• Conduct technical research on system upgrades, evaluating feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with existing systems.
• Collaborate with other PDRI groups, customer organizations, and external contractors to deliver high-quality software and services.
• Create and maintain system documentation, including requirements and system designs, and prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams that outline system capabilities and processes. Document system issues and resolutions for future reference.

Qualifications of the Technical Lead include:

• 5+ years of experience leading complex software development, delivery, and operations.
• 3+ years of experience as a software developer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Agile methodology.
• Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to lead multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Compensation for the Technical Lead include:

• Salary Range: $155,000-$165,000/year **depending on experience**
• Benefit Package: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc.
• Remote flexible structure (optional onsite 1x per month for team bonding)
