Sr. Network Engineer (Top Secret Security Clearance)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Top Secret Cleared Sr. Network Engineer in the Herndon, VA area for an exciting opportunity with a premier global technology organization. The Sr. Network Engineer must possess a Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility and must work onsite. Remote work is NOT an option.   

Responsibilities for the Sr. Network Engineer (Top Secret Clearance) include:

• Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage network activity for large enterprise customer data networks
• Work with a variety of engineers ensuring optimal network performance
• Serve as a high-level technical resource for all aspects related to the customer's LAN and WAN environments
• Provide recommendations to improve network and systems performance, efficiency, and security

Requirements for the Sr. Network Engineer (Top Secret Clearance) include:

• Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Sensitive Compartmented Information Clearance (SCI) with a Polygraph
• At least 5 years of experience designing and optimizing enterprise level networks
• Prior experience working directly with government agency customers
• Strong experience in WAN, LAN, Firewalls, and Cisco router/switch configuration
• Experience with Cisco Nexus Switches specifically deploying ACI Fabric (APIC Clusters) is highly preferred, but not required

Compensation of the Sr. Network Engineer (Top Secret Clearance) includes:

• $140,000 - $165,000
