Senior Linux Sys Admin

Zachary Piper Solutions are seeking a Senior Linux System Administrator to join a Network Infrastructure team supporting a military program located in Dahlgren, VA (COMPLETELY On-Site). The Senior Linux System Administrator will support IT services systems administration tasks.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities of the Senior Linux System Administrator:

• Use detailed understanding of Windows and Linux systems to perform systems administration and operation of networks and systems.
• Operate, administer, and upgrade computer systems, devices, and software
• Deploy software which includes scheduling, executing, and troubleshooting the deployment of software applications.
• Provide certificate management services.
• Provision and deliver computer systems and services.

Qualifications of the Senior Linux System Administrator:

• 5+ years in Linux System Administration
• Experience in Python, PowerShell, Ansible, and SELinux.
• Experience with containerization (Rancher, Kubernetes, Docker)
• Must possess an active IAT Level II Certification (Security+, CCNA, CySA+, etc.)
• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance upon hire

Compensation for the Senior Linux System Administrator:

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000/year (depending on experience)
