Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support a Global Government Client on Ft. Liberty (formally known as Ft. Braggs). This Network Engineer opportunity is required to be fully onsite in Fayetteville, NC. The Network Engineer will experience a dynamic and challenging environment with professional development opportunities and field network engineering and cybersecurity.  

Roles & Responsibilities for the Network Engineer:

• Design, install, and maintain network systems, managing performance and evaluating necessary hardware and software.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Cisco networking devices, WAN/LAN optimization systems, and VoIP/RoIP/Video equipment.
• Maintain and review system and security logs, manage user accounts, and enforce network policies and procedures.
• Update and enforce security procedures, monitor for security breaches, and implement incident response protocols.
• Apply expertise in networking technologies such as EIGRP, Multicast, QoS, NBAR, GRE, Layer 2/3 switching, interVLAN routing, NAT, VPNs, ACLs, TACACS, Solarwinds, and Riverbeds.

Required Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:

• 3-5 + years of experience in Network Engineering
• Managed enterprise email systems (MS Exchange 2010 & 2013) and administered Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server platforms (2008/2012R2).
• Implemented server virtualization using VMWare VCP5 or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Experienced with Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance and Core/Supplementary Routing and Switching.
• Active IAT II Certification (Sec+, CySa+, or equivalent)
• Must hold TS/SCI active clearance

Compensation for the Network Engineer include:

• 115,000-128,000 **depending on experience**
