Cyber Network Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Cyber Network Engineer who will support a government contract located in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities for Cyber Network Engineer

·        Prioritize requirements based on the needs of the project

·        Interacts with other team members and customers at multiple levels to gather, supply, or coordinate information

·        Good communication and customer service skills are needed along with ability to coordinate effectively with individuals from multiple levels

·        Provides insight into efficiencies that can be gained from the current workflow based on an understanding of the customers’ requirements

·        Work with engineers on troubleshooting and building complex, highly available network topologies

·        Performs engineering support and system administration of applications and systems to include installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, and back-up/restore

·        Provides Tier 2/3 maintenance and engineering support for deployed technologies

·        Supports Assessment and Authorization activities related to cybersecurity technologies, where applicable

Qualifications for the Cyber Network Engineer:

·      8 years of relative experience

·      TS/SCI with CI Poly Clearance

·      Security + or Equivalent Certification

·      Experience with Firewalls, Routers, switches and/or Load Balancer

Compensation for The Cyber Network Engineer:

• $140,000 – $170,000 *Depending on Experience.
