Cyber Security Watch Officer (TS/SCI required)

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Cyber Security Watch Officer in Fort Meade to assist with maintaining the JFHQ-DODIN command center. This position does require shift work and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities for the Cyber Security Watch Officer Include:

·        Monitoring and reporting operations to senior military officials

·        Incident handling, triage of events, trend analysis, metric development, vulnerability information dissemination

·        Overseeing network analysis and threat detection

·        Working independently in an environment that requires 24/7 supervision

·        Provide knowledge of DoD Computer Network Defense and brief findings to senior leaders

Qualifications for the Cyber Security Watch Officer Include:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Cyber Security

·        DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II

·        If no degree, 4+ years of working experience is acceptable

·        Experience using WireShark for packet capture analysis

·        SIEM tool experience (Splunk is a plus)

·        Active TS/SCI clearance

Compensation for the Cyber Security Watch Officer includes:

·        Salary Range: $85,000-$155,000/year depending on experience
