Cable Technician (Secret Cleared)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Secret Cleared Cable Technician to work for our client supporting the ARMY located on Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Responsibilities of the Cable Technician include:

• Assisting lead technicians with rough-in cable
• Pulling, Terminating, Testing CAT 5E/CAT 6 Cable
• Will be testing cables with Fluke Network Testers
• Knowledgeable with fiber terminations
• Experience with drop downs through the walls

Qualifications for the Cable Technician include:                                            

• Must be willing to work on ladders and get into ceilings to pull cable
• Must have their own means of reliable transportation 
• Familiarity with Fiber Optic Cable
• Must have an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Compensation for the Cable Technician include:

• Salary Range: $20-28/hr. **depending on experience
• Full Benefits: United Healthcare, Guardian Dental, VSP Vision, 401k with Voya through ADP
• PTO and Holidays
