Network Operations Specialist - Active Secret Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Secret-cleared Network Operations Specialist to support a network operations program for the MARFORRES (Marine Corps Reserves) intranet located in New Orleans, LA. This role requires a candidate with a diverse set of skills in network operations and end-user support, managing over 400,000 hardware devices and supporting 800,000 users both in the U.S. and internationally.

Responsibilities of the Secret-cleared Network Operations Specialist include:

·       Monitor network infrastructure, respond to alerts, and handle incidents from triage through resolution, including escalations

·       Manage infrastructure repairs and coordinate remote activities to maintain service continuity

·       Provide root cause analysis, document findings, and support data center operations as needed

·       Record shift activities in reporting tools and notify government representatives of incidents

Qualifications for the Secret-cleared Network Operations Specialist include:

·       Secret clearance required

·       5+ years of IT experience

·       Experience monitoring, maintaining, administering, configuring, and/or troubleshooting Network Devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)

·       Troubleshooting outages, configuration upgrades, and monitoring and reporting outages on classified and unclassified networks.

·       Network performance monitoring, network security monitoring

·       IAT II certification required CCNA- Can obtain waiver for 6 months

Compensation for the Secret-cleared Network Operations Specialist includes:

·       Salary Range: $85K - $108K **based off years of experience and non-negotiable above $145K**
