Upstream Manufacturing Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION

Piper Companies is currently seeking an Upstream Manufacturing Associate in the Baltimore area to work for a Contract Manufacturing Organization supporting various pharmaceutical companies that wish to utilize their top of the line manufacturing facilities, talent, and equipment. 

Responsibilities for the Upstream Manufacturing Associate include:

• Growing cells through use of liquid media contained in either Fermenters or Bioreactors
• Keeping accurate and consistent cell counts to ensure a healthy production process
• Minimize any chances of the product being exposed directly to the environment through maintaining sterility and contamination prevention

Qualifications for the Upstream Manufacturing Associate include:

• 1+ years of experience with upstream biologic production processes
• Strong understanding and knowledge of GMP compliance
• Proficiency in operating Fermenters or Bioreactors
• Bachelors of Science preferred with skills in biologics

Compensation for the Upstream Manufacturing Associate includes:

• Salary Range: Based on experience
