Network Security Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Security Engineer to support a government program in Downtown Washington DC. 

The responsibilities of the Network Security Engineer include:

• Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network security tools for enterprise customer in data center.
• Configuring network and security devices in a large enterprise environment (Cisco FIREPOWER, Cisco ASA)

The qualifications of the Network Security Engineer include:

• 3+ years of experience in Network Security
• Ability to obtain Public Trust
• Experience with (1) or more of the following Cisco security technologies: ISE, IPS/SourceFire, ASA, CSM, ThreatGRID/AMP, ESA, WSA
• ACTIVE Cisco certification (CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCIE)

The compensation of the Network Security Engineer includes:

• $100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
• 10 days of federal holidays
• 15 days of paid time off
• Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k
