Linux System Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Zachary Piper Companies is currently looking for a Linux Systems Administrator for a full-time opportunity supporting multiple Federal Government programs customer based in Springfield, VA. 

Responsibilities for the Linux Systems Administrator include:

• Responsible for designing, building configuring, and tuning of Linux based systems
• Build and configuration management
• Scripting with:  Shell, Korn, Shell

Qualifications for the Linux Systems Administrator include:

• 3+ years of systems administration or systems engineering experience on Linux platforms (Red Hat preferred, CentOS)
• Experience with Apache Tomcat
• VMware experience required
• Must have current Top Secret clearance
• Must have IAT Level II or higher certification (one of the following):  Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CASP, CISSP, etc.)

Compensation for the Linux Systems Administrator include:

• Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000 based on experience
• Full Benefits: Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401k, and Paid Time Off
