Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Unified Communications Administrator to join a Federal Program located in the following cities: Tampa, FL; Washington, DC; Honolulu, HI; Memphis, TN; Miami, FL; Charlottesville, VA; Norfolk, VA. The UC Administrator will coordinate with other NOC and Operational staff to solve complex support problems and will be asked to implement platform upgrades.
Responsibilities of the Unified Communications Administrator include:
· Perform system and IOS upgrades, IAVA patching, and technical refreshes for Cisco Unified Call Manager.
· Lead UC implementation, installation, and refresh projects at site level.
· Manage UC ticket resolution, including categorization, root cause analysis, and escalation.
· Monitor system performance, troubleshoot failures, and recommend operational improvements.
· Maintain asset inventory and ensure accountability.
· Draft and update SOPs and knowledge articles; support knowledge management efforts.
· Configure and maintain UC monitoring systems to ensure service availability.
· Participate in engineering decisions impacting mission-critical UC infrastructure.
· Work independently with minimal supervision, leveraging experience and documentation to implement solutions.
Qualifications for the Unified Communications Administrator include:
· Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or 7+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
· Must have a CompTIA Security+ certificate.
· Must have an active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Compensation for the Unified Communications Administrator includes:
· Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 depending on experience
