Network Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is searching for a Network Engineer to join an innovative Government Technology Solutions firm.The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. This position is located on-site in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The Network Engineer requires a deep understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software, as well as the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.

 Responsibilities of the Network Engineer:

·     Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

·     Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

·     Configure and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and SD WAN experience.

·     Collaborate with IT team members to develop and implement network policies and procedures.

Qualification of the Network Engineer:

·     Active Secret DoD Clearance.

·     Relevant certifications; Security +, CCNP preferred.

·     Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·     Strong Cisco switching/routing experience and SD WAN experience.
