Secret Cleared DB2 Database Administrator

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Secret Cleared DB2 DBA to support a flourishing federal IT provider based out of Annapolis Junction, MD. The Secret Cleared DB2 DBA is responsible for the administration, optimization and cloud migration (AWS) of IBM DB2.

Responsibilities of the Secret Cleared DB2 DBA Includes:

• Responsible for database administration, testing, and production; particularly for database migrations
• Support database administration and optimization of IBM DB2 including IBM MQ, and IBM DBProtect
• Utilize Shell for querying and automation
• Ensure databse migration to AWS is supported.

Qualifications for the Secret Cleared DB2 DBA Includes:

• 8+ years of database administration experience
• 5+ years of experience writing and tuning queries
• Experience reviewing and implementing database design changes
• DB2 database administration experience required
• Bachelor's degree is highly preferred
• Active secret clearance is required

Compensation for the Secret Cleared DB2 DBA Includes:

• Salary Range: $155,000 - $170,000*depending on experience and education*
