Zachary Piper Solutions is seeks a dedicated SETA Transition Manager with an active TS/SCI clearance to lead the transition of Advisory and Assistance Services for the Space Rapid Capabilities Office (SpRCO) in Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. The Transition Manager will be responsible for ensuring a seamless transition process, maintaining operational continuity, and facilitating knowledge transfer to new personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 90-day transition plan to ensure successful onboarding of personnel and integration of services.
- Coordinate with internal teams and SpRCO to identify key activities, milestones, and deliverables during the transition phase.
- Establish and lead the Transition Management Team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments related to the transition process and implement strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of transition processes, including operational procedures, training materials, and key contacts.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management, transition management, or change management, preferably within the defense or government contracting sectors. Experience with Space Force programs or mission support is highly desired, especially in managing transitions for large-scale projects or contracts.
- Certifications: Certification in Change Management or Transition Management is a plus; familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is beneficial.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint) with the ability to create and maintain transition documentation.
- Risk Management Knowledge: Experience identifying and mitigating risks associated with project transitions.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000
