Network Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Network Engineer to support a multi-year program for a large government customer. This would be supporting a server room with design, installation, & maintenance, configuration of routers/switches. This opportunity will be fully onsite at Fort Liberty, NC and will require an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer:

·      Migrate configure VTC endpoints from VCS to register with Cisco Call Manager

·      Troubleshoot Cisco IP phone registrations daily

·      Utilize GemOne to upgrade KGs, create/maintain backups, manage audit logs, control device licensing, and remotely push keys to outlying bases

·      Monitor & Report network incidents using Riverbed/SolarWinds

·      Build spaces, meetings, conferences, using VQ/MCU/TMS on cleared networks

Qualifications of the Network Engineer:

·      2+ years of experience with configuring routers & switches

·      Experience with Layer 2 & 3 switching

·      Strong understanding of EIGRP, OSPF, BGP Routing Protocols

·      Must have an active CCNP/CCNA, & ITIL 4 Certification

·      Must have an Active Top Secret OR TS/SCI Clearance

Compensation for Network Engineer:

·      Salary Range: $90,000-$115,000
