Configuration Management SME

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Configuration Management SME to support a newly awarded 5-year DHS program. This position is fully remote and requires the ability to obtain a DHS Suitability.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have strong experience in both infrastructure and software configuration management in a cloud environment, including release versioning strategies using a distributed source control repository such as Git. The candidate should be familiar with Agile CI/CD processes and managing compatibility of COTS and open-source solutions. The candidate must have experience maintaining configuration of cloud-based environments including using infrastructure as code and using Ansible or other open-source technologies across multiple environments.

Required Skills: 

·          Must be able to obtain DHS suitability

·          8+ years of experience developing configuration and change management processes and techniques

·          Experience establishing and implementing a configuration and change management plan 

·          8+ years of experience with identification of controlled artifacts and implementation of standard CM control processes 

·          3+ years of experience designing, implementing, supporting, monitoring and maintaining systems using Ansible in cloud and on-premise infrastructure 

·          3+ years of experience implementing Configuration and Change Management processes in a government environment

Compensation:

·       $130,000-150,000 *depending on experience3
