Cost Analyst

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Cost Analyst who will support a government contract located in Quantico, VA.

Responsibilities for the Cost Analyst:

• Perform the full range of cost analyses in evaluation of client programs, to include life cycle cost estimates (LCCE), Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimates, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) and ad hoc cost studies.
• Develop Cost Analysis Requirements Descriptions (CARDs).
• Support program office estimate activities. 
• Support, update, and apply mathematical and logical methodologies for estimating program costs. 
• Develop, update, manipulate, and maintain cost and affordability models. 
• Support efforts in collecting, normalizing, and analyzing complex data. 
• Build and defend budget requirements. 
• Assist in forecasting future funding needs. 
• Evaluate contracting strategy and courses of action. 

Qualifications for the Cost Analyst:

·       1 – 10 + years of Financial experience, require

·       Bachelors Degree, strongly preferred

·       Expirence with Excel

·       Understanding of Finance and accounting principles

Compensation for the Cost Analyst:

• $90,000 – $200,000 *Depending on Experience.
